Q&A
Büro member since:
2017
Which Büro location do you work out of?
MiMo
What does your company do, and what is your role?
Get Ink is a hospitality matchmaker. We blend creative communication and marketing strategies for restaurants, hotels, and wellness clients. With over 15 years in Miami and over 25 in the industry, our connections run deep. We love bringing projects to life with visual storytelling.
What do you like best about your job?
I love building a client's brand, especially when they're entering the Miami market. Even more so when we can incorporate sustainability solutions from the beginning. I really enjoy working with all of my journalist friends, and still get a rush from a big media hit.
What is your business motto/philosophy?
Dream big!
Miami native since:
2001
Hometown (if not Miami):
Santa Fe, NM; I've also lived in Colorado and California.
What are your favorite Miami hangouts and activities?
I'm still smitten with the natural beauty of Miami! Especially during the day. I usually take my dog to the beach or out to Key Biscayne. The Upper East Side / Little River areas are booming with new restaurants, shops, and spots to just take in the art. It's fun seeing what pops up next!
What's one (surprising, interesting, funny, awesome) thing you'd like for Büro members to know about you?
I'm launching a new company called "Create to Sustain"! It will take the ignorance out of sustainable practices and start saving clients money in less than 24 hours.
What do you like best about working at Büro?
It houses such smart, creative people. Plus our office space is beautiful.
What crazy adventure would you want to take?
I love to solo travel. I've been going to Nicaragua over the past 5 years; now on to Portugal. When this publishes I'll be back from Lisbon and Porto - in case you need any travel tips!
What are your secret survival strategies?
Yoga, paddleboarding, and writing for fun.
What's your comfort food?
Anything with green chile, cheese, and tortillas. Make it spicy, or go home!
What movies do you watch, or reference, over and over?
Lately, I've been watching a lot of music documentaries. I was blown away by "Daft Punk Unchained" - genius!
